Unlike most reviewers below, I have actually lived in Gilford and interacted with the police on multiple occasions. They have always been nothing but professional and polite.
Looks folks, I'm a card carrying conservative and I share this man's concern about the common core curriculum and the state of public schools in this nation. However, that does not give him the right to silence the voices of other parents or antagonize a police officer. GPD did nothing wrong whatsoever.

As for the incident that most are complaining about below, the man who was arrested at the school board meeting was not arrested for speaking his mind, he was arrested because he spoke over other parents, refusing to let them express their opinions and he antagonized a police officer. The Lieutenant approached the man and asked him politely to quiet down. The man responded by telling the Lieutenant that the only way that he would stop interrupting is if he was arrested. The Lieutenant obliged.
